Hopeville Pond Second Try

Well after catching some great bass here i figured it was good for another try. I did not strike paydirt the the first go around, but i did not get sunked either. ended up with 4 bass, large one for the day right at two pounds, one about a pound and a quarter, one three quarters, and a baby about 10 inches or so. The downed trees may look good, but all the fish from both trips came from the pads. Its not as fun with mono, braid cuts them off so nice. The wind picked up bad today for an hour or so, which had me very worried, as i am man power only, and i went with it, while trying to find hids. The best two fish were on a float, and i did not feel the take. I was going faster than i can paddle with the wind, and the largest i was dragging threw the weeds, and amazed that i managed to land it.
